I received a voicemail message to return a call to the Dane County Sheriffs office. I called, there was an extension but I thought the male voice was the same. He also sent me to a different dept. but, again, the voice seemed the same. He said I was summoned to court and was notified by mail of this summons which I knew wasn’t true. I kept questioning him about this mailing - he knew my address and my middle name. I then said “I think this is fake.” And, he hung up. I am a therapist listed on the XXXXXXXXXX XXXXX website. When you receive a call from that listing they send an email notification. I later saw that I had an email stating that the number I was given to return the call came through my XXXXXXXXXX XXXXX listing. That’s how he found me. He must have then done some extra searching to find my address and middle name.
