I received numerous calls stating they were the Dallas County sheriffs office contacting me in regards to a Warrant issued for my arrest due to money laundering and drug trafficking into Mexico stating in the last 72 hours a Rental apartment in the state of Texas was rented using my information and I also supposedly rented a car in my name and it was found they said it was a jeep Cherokee and it had evidence of me laundering money into Mexico and there was cocaine in the car they tried to verify my address using an old address that I live at and they also had my date of birth I asked them to give me my Social Security number which I would never verify with them but they could not give me my social also I asked them to give me my middle name and they gave me the wrong middle name because I was asking so many questions he got pissed off and hung up please be aware of the scam I’ve read numerous things on the web regarding this also a friend of mine also received a call stating the same exact thing but the phone number was different that they called from they also stated my Social Security number would be suspended and or blocked at midnight due to committing this crime none of it made any sense so after he hung up on me I called back and they answered the phone as Dallas Texas County sheriffs office!! IT IS A SCAM!!!!! They also asked me if I had any suspicious activity in my bank account within the last three years as well as stating they had to verify this information before they could pass this on to the FBI who would then contact the local authorities within my state who would eventually show up at my home to arrest me for this crime this is very serious and very scary however the guy that called had a foreign accent maybe from India he was difficult to understand and he kept stating we had a bad connection he would hang up and call back and did this twice the first address that he verified was the old address but when I told him that none of the information that he was giving me was correct he then stated my actual address be aware of this scam!!
