I believe I'm being scammed as well !

I recently got a job offer from the same company Daitan Group and I’m suppose too proceed with my process on Monday but I couldn’t help but think the offer was too good too be true so out of curiosity I’ve been doing some digging and I found this page and I’m so thankful but shocked too see so many others have been scammed by this ! Like many others , I’ve been struggling looking for work and making 34hr at home didn’t sound bad at all ! Somebody by the name of “Alexandre Maldaner” reached out too me with a job offer and too download Skype And we’d finish things there. After reviewing everyone’s comments I will not be continuing contact with them I’m so glad I was led too this website scammers are everywhere! y’all be safe.?

Some one sent text message first saying that we conduct interview through wire messenger and in wire messenger one person Douglas Vincent messaged me and asked me interview questions then she offered me offer letter and sent me W4 form and asking me to fill that with my documents attached.
Is this from daitan group or scam I'm in confusion.

Hey! I believe it’s a scam. I was offered the same thing but my interview process was through Skype not messenger, that seems a little more off too me ! But don’t fall for it I see that your date is just as recent as mine I think we’re being scammed.

SAME SCAM HERE!

I was texted originally by someone named Kara Koehler, offering me several positions the Daitan Group had openings for. They asked my field of specialty, after I replied "she" asked me to download the Wire app and add Douglas Vicente as well. He reached out immediately and started asking me interview questions, I told him I couldn't meet right now and asked what the interview process looked like? He told me only this interview. So I said, I won't actually meet anyone in the company face to face? And he just kept continuing to ask me interview questions. I knew it was a scam from that point forward so I deleted the app immediately & found this page.

So sorry y'all experienced the same thing! :(

Beware of this scam job seekers. They claim to be from Daitan Group but the email address is not from the company.. you can check the company site to see if they have positions that match your skills.. and probably see that they don't.. this is a scam. You will pass the interview .. but nothing will come of it.. so what is going on... I suspect the following:

They want you to install a messanger client on your system.. my guess is that th ey will hack your system once you contact them through this.. so don't. I use LINUX so I guess they had no luck.. since I used the web based tool.. and not the windows client.

Here is what they send you:
"Hello,

The Hiring Department of Daitan Group has reviewed your resume recently submitted online for Job seeking. Due to your Resume information and work ability the management has qualified you to be one of the eligible workers that will be joining our Team. There is an organized Training Program for hired Applicants and the position working hours are flexible, you can work as a Full-Time or Part-Time Employee, the Pay Scale is $64/hour depending upon skill level. Medical and retirement benefits."

I keep getting these emails, I am including the text below. They are falsely claiming to represent Daitan Group. This is a real company but you can see that the email source is not from the company. Also you can check the company site.. they have no openings that meet my skillset. I did the interview.. and got hired.. they said they would send me a check to purchase equipment.. never came.. in fact they did not have my address nor my telephone number ... because they asked for my number...

So what are they doing? I believe they want you to install a "Wire" client for messaging.. and I would suspect that they can use this to hack into your computer.. I use LINUX so nothing happened.. .. this is really annoying if you are looking for a job .. don't fall for it. I keep getting their messages.. from different addresses none of them are from Daitan Group emails

I too was offered a lucrative data entry position. Initial communication was via email, then text and finally via Skype. I googled the person I believed I was communicating with. He appeared to be an actual employee. I went through the “interview process” and “got the job”. I received an overnight check via FedEx for my “job supplies”. I was asked to deposit it in my account and await further instructions for payment to the vendor. I asked to proceed via video; but he declined saying it was against company policy. In the interim I reached out via LinkedIn to the person I believed I was communicating with. He responded quickly and said he didn’t offer me a job and that whoever I was communicating with was an imposter. He finished saying Daitan doesn’t use third party companies or platforms for hiring. Daitan only hires via their corporate website. Be careful out there!

Got the same type of offer from Justin Morgan from Daitan Group for a data entry job. The pay was a ridiculous amount. I didn't speak with the person via Wire Messenger, though. I just told him I changed my mind and passed on the job. He had the audacity to text back asking what's wrong. I'm not giving him a response.

Received following text message “Hello, I am Mr. Gary Foster from the HR Department of Daitan Group. Your resume was reviewed for the company for the Data Entry Job, Let me know if interested and please disregard if already interviewed.”

Was then asked to follow up with someone named Douglas Vicente, who appears to be a real person, via Skype messaging. Asked how I could know that the offer was legitimate and received no answer only generic interview questions. When asked for banking info, I said I would be happy to share after we spoke via video chat to which there was no reply.
