I received an email that this supposed hiring manager thought I would be a great fit for a remote position at Transmedics. Eager to get my first ever remote job, I filled out the application and attached my resume. The scammer was in contact fairly quick. i should have realized something was wrong when it stated the company Austin Texas Print, however, below the signature, the scammer claimed they were employed by TransMedics. I did download the app that is mentioned in the email and did a full-on interview with a scammer. I did give them my bank account name but not the routing or account number. They claimed they were sending me a check to cover the expenses of equipment and I am just now seeing that check I will attach a photo of the check and the first email they had written me.
