I reached out to this person originally about a dachshund puppy then decided not to move forward. They then reached back out to me asking if I was still looking. I went through the motions and I shoukd have known better when I was asking questions and having a hard time getting answers but I was having trust in people and I shouldn't have. I sent $250 with the expectation I would receive a puppy and would pay the balance in person. Well once the money was sent and he started asking for more money and I refused he started telling me he and his wife are a Christian family and to trust him and that he'll meet with me to give me the dog. When I continued to refuse and told the guy I wanted my money back he stopped communicating with me. I have screen shots of our messages, the review I put on Facebook, and texts to the number they provided that was not their number from what I can tell. I have also emailed the email they provided but haven't heard anything back yet.
