D1 Bound Reports & Reviews (1)

This company followed my minor son on Twitter, then contacted him through Twitter messaging, offering to place him with division 1 schools without violating NCAA rules. They used the Twitter name @D1BoundAthletes, which subsequently changed @D1BoundAgency. He paid them a total of $1,700 of his hard earned money, included a $250 "refund fee." He paid them through Venmo and CashApp, but they also offered Apple Pay and PayPal. When he persisted asking if his payment went through for the refund, he said he would tell his parents and sue them, so they blocked him. Then they changed their Twitter account name from @D1BoundAthletes to @D1BoundAgency. He had lengthy text conversations with this man, and one phone conversation. It was a white man, redneck accent, who referred to him as "Bud." (I said below that the victim was 18-24 because the form won't let me select a lower age. He is a minor.)
