I was called and when I answered I was told they were calling from the US Treasury. I was told I was selected to receive 9000 dollars. They asked my age, If I were single. They knew I was in the State of Florida and my USPS mailbox zip code. I was given the 2022178436 phone number to call and a number: AO(as in October)124 to give to a manager when I called. I called the 2022178436 number. Both times I spoke with a woman. She had an accent. It sounded Asian. She asked if I knew why I was receiving this money. I said no. She explained my name came up on a list of unemployed, single parents... a general listing of people who may be in need. I was selected from this group.she soon explained the AO124 number would have to be activated. Oh, on the first phone call when they called me, they asked how I would prefer to receive my money. I remember the choices of Western Union or direct deposit into my account. There were other options. I chose Western Union. The second phone call, That I made to the 2922178436 number, I was told to activate the AO124 number, I would have to go to Western Union. I would also need 300 dollars. She asked if I had it. I said yes. I don't have it. She then told me the 9000 sum couldn't be done in one transaction. I would have to go to more than one Western Union to receive. She mentioned the maximum amount Western Union would allow. She also said she would stay on the phone with me while I did the transactions. She also mentioned something about a card, a general card. She then asked which store would I be going to. I then told her, I couldn't do it at that time because I was waiting for an AC repair person. Could I call later and do it then. She asked if it were possible for me to do it then. I again said, I was waiting for an AC (air conditioning) repair person and as soon as they were done; I would be able to do it. I added can I call someone when I'm at the store and do it then. She said yes. I could call her back and she would be there till 7p.m.

As soon as I finished with that call, I made this report to you.
