Approach for a Data Entry job with Cytovac. Was approached via text by a recruiter stating I needed to get Telegram app to have interview with Anton Shammas. They sent a check to get office equipment. Bank flagged the check and stated it was a scam.

I was contacted through text on my phone and ask to download the app telegram which I did and they were asking for a job interview and went through and ask several questions. All this was done through the telegram app. They promised me a job and said they would send me a check for equipment. I have not gotten it yet, but my daughter searched scams on employment and this is following exactly the procedure explained to try to get money. Unfortunately I sent by email to them a W4 with my social security number on it and a copy of my driver's license front and back and my credit union information although this account is not my main banking info. Anton Shammas posed as a hiring manager and gave me the website to Cytovac which looked official and that I would be doing data collection and entry and if I had a scanner. They said they would send a check for equipment and that I would have to use their vendors to download the programs that I would be using. They said I wound receive $20.75 per hour during training which would last 2 weeks (later they said 1 week). Work would be 40 hours per week and the compensation would be $35.75/hr. They said benefits would include Health/dental/life and Ad&D insurance, employee wellness and 401k plans and paid time off and holidays with company discounts. It all seemed liget until my daughter sent me a link about these employment scams and this follows exactly what they do. I don't have a phone number but the address for the company is in Denmark, Venlighedsvej 6, 2970 Hørsholm, Denmark
