I was currently looking for a remote job and received a text about a job I applied to. Didn’t remember the name of every company I applied to so I assumed I must have. I was a little skeptical after they asked me to download “Signal” to communicate. I exchanged some information and filled out some “paperwork” but then said I had to deposit money in my account to purchase software. That seemed off because what company send you money to purchase software when they can send them the money and ship it to you? Somethings weren’t adding up. He asked me to send a portion of a check they sent through email and I deposited it. I never sent them any money I deposited. As of right now I know it is a scam and waiting for the money to not clear

I applied for a remote job and received this text a few days later:

Good day, I’m Victor Woods. I'm contacting you in regards to your resume reviewed by our company (Cytlmmune Sciences, Inc.) from Indeed.

We're excited to invite you to interview for the position of a Remote Data Entry Analyst/Administrative asst./Customer service specialist, work from home with a pay of $27 per hour. We would like to know if you're Interested?

I replied yes, and they responded with this text:

Thanks for your response. You‘ll be redirected to the HR manager for more information about the position and company.

The job interview process will be conducted via Signal messenger which is free and easily attainable. Do you have Signal app?
