I just got scammed by these people. What is your recourse? Said they wanted to buy the bike and then they just ghosted me after convincing me to buy the report.!

The message was

Tuesday would work out for me. I want to purchase your motorcycle but before I travel I would like to take a look over the vin history that can be obtained from cyclevinreport.com . Don't blame me for being cautious but there are a lot of flaky people and the report helps me with my final decision Sent from my iPhone

I fell for it! The response to my ad was convincing, well written and simple. Our conversation progressed back and forth as expected and we agreed upon a time to meet face-to-face. Then came a request for a VIN report. very subtle with a suggestion for a site they used in the past. There was no sales pitch for the site and after a bit searching online the site seemed legit and on-par with many other recommended sites. I bit. Cycle VIN Report will give you the standard Experian Autocheck report but with their header. It will take a day on top of that. You can get it instantly straight from Autocheck. Final nail was the no-show at our appointed meeting time. Very slick scam. They did provide the report though. The deception is what bugs me the most.

I was helping a friend getting a history report when I saw this. Nobody is providing same history reports, you mentioned this but is not true, go away, I don't believe a word from you and from other complaints.. I know several people using this company and nobody had any problems with them just you and some other "guys". They do a manual research for every report, this is just the competition, this company is old enough in this niche, if it was a scam why is still up and running? There are several complaints about Carfax for fake data this is why I keep seeing reports from Cyclevinreport.com because they have so many agreements with DMV, Experian and a lot of repair shops. What happened? They provide better reports at a lower price and you start feel the loss? LOL

Be wary of cyclevinreport.com they sent me emails pretending to be a potential buyer and then tried to get me to buy one of their phony fake stolen reports that you can get for free for $23. Avoid them like the plague. Don't fall for their phishing scheme find a place with good reviews and that isn't so shady.

I used cyclevinreport.com for years but this is the first time I see this, I was just curious and to be honest, I don't know if comments are coming from competition but cyclevinreport.com it's been there for about 10 years. I bought several reports from them and they deliver very high quality history reports. If you search on the web, there are several people providing same history reports. They also have 100% Trust Score on scamadviser

Have an "interested buyer" request a report from this site specifically. Half his emails are clearly copy and pasted from another document to save time. He blew a fuse when I provided a report from a different site. A week and a dozen emails later and he hasn't mentioned the bike since, he's gone full salesman mode singing the praises of this one site ignoring the bike entirely. I guarantee that he'd ghost me as soon as I actually bought a report.

I still have him on the hook too, purposefully wasting his time so he can't scam as many people. I've raised the price of the bike twice on him with no reaction, he's just laser focused on convincing me to buy a report. I consider it a personal victory every time I don't see his copy/paste formatting errors because I know I took just a little more time out of his day.

Cycle vin had more, and very important, details than Carfax. I actually tried carfax several times but they had issues with their processing so I finally ended up here. I am so glad I did, saved me some money. I guess you guys should thank the shady marketing practices of the other guys because I ended up here because of them. Hopefully, this review helps someone else decide. It is hard to tell the bad sites sometimes, I always look for a list of things and your site passed with flying colors. Thank You for my report, hopefully it helps me sell this bike! Thank you!

I was selling a motorcycle on CL and a potential buyer contacted me and said that they were interested and lived in a city about an hour away from me. In Montana thats not such a strange request. Everything seemed pretty legit until they asked me to get a VIN report specfically from cyclevinreport.com. I understand that many buyers would like a VIN report so I purchased a VIN report from a different reputable source.

A potentially interested buyer inquired about my motorcycle listed for sale on Craigslist. He requested my personal email address which I gave him. This was probably a mistake because this person may be able to see my name now. He then said he wants to purchase the motorcycle but wanted me to visit a website first to purchase a vehicle title report for him. He directed me to cyclevinreport.com. I looked on the ScamPulse.com website and found that other people have gotten the same email.
