I received a call from the person that I had paid to have my computer checked for viruses about having a potential virus hack in my computer. While having my computer checked for these "viruses" my grandson witnessed an attempted transaction through PayPal while that person was "checking" my computer for potential viruses. This is second time I have received an email from PayPal informing me of a negative balance with PayPal. It is with the same company and the same people are involved. The first amount was for $1498.00, this time it is for $2997.99. Attempts to send other people money through PayPal

I received an initial call about virus protection for my computer. After discussing everything with the person, I agreed to this protection & arranged to make monthly payments for the amount I agreed to. Everything has gone as it was supposed to, with the person making a call to me on a monthly basis and monitored my computer while I watched, before asking for my permission to withdraw the agreed monthly payment from my account. Then, on January 8, I received a phone call about a possible virus on my computer. Although I wasn't at my computer, my grandson was, and witnessed someone clicking on my camera on my laptop multiple times, then transferring funds from one source to another through PayPal. I told my grandson I would closely monitor my financial account, should some funds be removed without my permission. Then about a week ago, while I was reading my email, I saw an email from PayPal regarding a debt of $1498.00 that I owed to PayPal. After notifying PayPal about this debt, it is then that I learned that this was an attempted scam!
