Message posted on my screen after accidentally pressing on message in junk folder. Computer not working and message on screen claiming to be *** and to call the number on the screen immediately because of virus and to not turn computer off. Then they wanted to charge $345 to fix/5 year security plan - with an encrypted check! They asked for routing number etc. and for password on computer and to screen share so they can see everything on the screen. The guy 'accidentally' pressed on my facetime icon so he could see me and asked personal questions like where I was from, what job I have. I had to tell him that I didn't want to talk. They are NOT from ***. I confirmed this with *** who helped me take the fraud company items out again (including them being the user of my computer!) and install anti-malware for free! And I called bank to cancel/dispute check. Don't call number on screen. Call *** directly.
