My father's computer locked up with the message telling him to call the number and they had him grant permisson to access his computer and "fix" it. they did run some programs that are free, but charged him approximately $170 for this so called "service". He is 80 years young, but has no idea what he got into. I'm currently going through the registy editor on his computer and removing the back door access they installed.
