CVS Secret Shopper Reports & Reviews (1)

I received an email from a company claiming to be a CVS Job notification website. I filled out the secret shopper form and waited for an update. After a week or two had gone by they contacted me via phone stating that they were sending a package and to let them know when I received it. When I received the package, I opened it, inside was a check and instructions that you should follow. It gives the number 424-260-5347 to confirm that you have received the package and it ask for info regarding you and the check. At first, I thought they should already know and then I was like maybe they sent a lot of packages out and want to be sure. After that, it asks you to deposit the check and purchase 3 500 dollar American Express gift cards. They set a time frame for the completion of the task 12 to 24 hrs and if you complete the task within the time frame you will receive a bonus. After depositing the check something did not seem right to me so I reread the information, checked my bank account, and researched scams. I ran across a lady explaining the same situation that I had endured. She had word from word of the letter, amount, the concern of the different numbers texting her, and bank account suspension. I quickly called my bank and informed them of the situation and had it handled within the company and asked how to go about reporting the scam. Im just glad I caught it before losing money. Also, the name at the bottom of the letter would be Donald Sega.
