I contacted the “seller” to purchase a puppy from the website. I have a friend that told me they purchased one from the website in the past, so I thought it was completely safe. I sent a $100 deposit to hold the puppy and we agreed to pay the remaining $700 the next day. It did not sit well with me that I would be sending $700 through cash app for a puppy that I’ve never before or a person I’ve only communicated with through text. I requested that I come see the puppy in person and the seller said that payment was due before I could see the puppy. From there, everything went downhill and I quickly new this was someone with bad intentions. They even admitted to scamming others out of money
