Received a ups package, inside was a check for $1970.58 and a letter telling me to email them that I had received check. I did then the email requested I deposit check into my bank acct. To clear in 48 hrs. To keep 400$ and then email them back for further instructions. I decided to research because it was too much $ too good to be true right? Well he the. Know MY name on check answered phone and said yes they had been hacked and that everyone who had cashed their checks were having to pay them back. And that they had to close that account. So my checking would have been screwed and I possibly would be charged with crime.
