Received counterfeit check for $2570.00. Letter received has no letterhead or has info on who was sending the letter. Was asked to use 2000 of that money to purchase four 500.00 gift cards at walmart, pay 5.00 activation fee for each card, and send photos of the front and back of the giftcards to 432-217-9524 or email said photos to [email protected]. Instead of doing that, reported to FTC and USPS for counterfeit check fraud and mail fraud.
