Type of a scam Rental
The rental company I send my monthly checks to is CDF (Custom Fur Designs).
The rental agency doesn't have a physical address, nor do the realtors have a proper email with company domain. They just use gmail. For instance, my "landlord" is Desi. Her contact email is: [email protected]
They tape "bills" to our doors instead of mailing the LADWP utility bill directly to our mailboxes.
Everything about the apartment complex and CDF just doesn't seem right. It's all shady and questionable.
For instance, we haven't had hot water for two days now and they claim to have sent for a specialist that lives in Santa Clarita and had "traffic" issues. Why wouldn't they contract somebody closer? Why do they tape personally typed "bills" to our doors instead of just having LADWP send us a utility bill? I just don't understand their ways of thinking... I'm especially uncertain as to why I have to write my monthly checks out to a Custom Fur Design company instead of an apartment rental agency...
I've attached a copy of one of the monthly bills they tape to our doors for you to look over.
Please look into this business. They don't care about their tenants and I don't even believe they're a real company.
