On 2/15/21, I was looking at ads for miniature poodle puppies for sale and contacted David Mutesi via email about the availability of a female puppy, aged 9 weeks. He told me she was still available and sent me a couple of other pictures of her. I was very interested in her and then found out she was in Tulsa, Ok. I really didn't want her shipped in the cargo hold of an airplane, so waited a few days before contacting the breeder again. In the meantime, I found out that my son was going to be in Tulsa making a delivery at Milo Tea. So on 3/20/21, I sent two payments through Zelle to this breeder using the email address of [email protected].. One payment was for $500.0 nd the other for $150.. for a total of $650.00 and the agreement was that was the total price for the puppy and this David Mutesi would pay for shipping to get the puppy to me. We made numerous attempts to have the puppy hand delivered to my son but the breeder never followed through. Now, they want an additional $980.00 for pet insurance that is supposed to be fully refundable. I'm out the money and the puppy as I will not send anymore money to this breeder or Rocket Pet Delivery. Meanwhile, this puppy, as far as I know, is waiting at the Tulsa airport to be shipped to me. Now the breeder is stating that if I truly cared for this puppy, I wouldn't abandon it. He's also saying if I would pay $600.00, he'll pay the rest. I don't even know if this puppy truly exists or if its being cared for at the airport. The puppy(?) has been at the airport for three days now. I have also contacted the Tulsa SPCA to check on this puppy.
