Received a local phone call in which they asked me to press 9 to speak to an account representative from Experian. Upon speaking to a person, (who sounded foreign) he had asked me that the reason why they were trying to contact me was to lower my APR on my credit cards because I qualified for it and it was never processed properly. I asked the person if he knew my name and he said that he didn't have my account in front of him and wanted me to provide him with my CC# for verification. I told him that I would not provide any information on that and that I would contact my credit card company. He insisted that they were calling from Experian and that he would be able to provide any documentation on my activities once I provided him with my credit card.
