This is a scam in which a dog breeder offers to have your puppy transported to you. They tell you that until they register the puppy and you get a tracking number, etc. and then you pay. Well that is where things kick in, you get the registration and then the so called shipping company tells you that you have to purchase or rent a crate for the transport and that you need to purchase refundable insurance for the shipment. So at this point they start playing you that they have this puppy and it is sitting at their facility and they need to get it on a transport to you. They will keep going asking for you to send the money (in this case 150 for the rental crate and 700 for insurance). They will make you think the puppy is sitting and if you just get them this refundable money the puppy will be on its way to you. None of this is true the so called breeder is in on it and there is simply no puppy. They even have tracking on their website and will update it, but there is nothing shipping. For many of us in search of a specific breed of puppy are doing so because we are coming of a loose of a dog. We had just lost our 11 year old golden retrieve and our son was devastated. I normally would never even consider getting a puppy in this manner otherwise, and to have it be a scam tells you that there are truly people in this world with no morals at all! Please unless you know the breeder well do not ever believe in any transport program.
