Was asked "Can you hear me" , I responded yes, and then the caller continued with how we've been "pre-selected to win a cruise" and I hung up the phone.

"Emily" said she was having trouble with her headset. I usually don't answer numbers I don't recognize, but was expecting a call from my doctor. I don't recall if I said "yes" during this conversation, but I didn't know about this scam at the time...where they get you to say a "yes" and use it to say you authorized something you did not. She hung up on me when I said I made less than 40k per year.
