The scammer modified a rental ad on Zillow, which was distributed to a number of other companies advertising rentals, such as rent.com. The property is a summer rental only. The monthly rent is $3900. However, the modified listing on various sites was priced at $1600/mo. And there is no mention that the property is a summer rental only. The modified ad was not authorized by us, the owners, and it shows unauthorized pictures of our home. We have notified as many of the internet rental agencies that we have discovered where the false listing appear. And we have notified a "data feed" company where the various listings appears to have originated--company called Buildium (www.buildium.com).
