This morning I checked my banking account and noticed an $44 charge on my account under my debit card number that I did not make for a dating and escort service that I did not make or absolutely did not sign up for. I called the 800 number and was put on hold so I hung up and called my credit union and canceled my debit card. So I then called the 800 back and was able to finally get a person and I could tell by the chatter in the background that probably a lot of people were calling in because I could here them in others saying "what is the last four of the card used'. The man I was talking to said that my husband had signed up for the account which I new he did not due with my card number. I know that a few weeks ago I got a message supposedly from ATT saying that we had won a new phone and I put all my information in and I should have know that if I had really won something from ATT they already had our information and would not have been asking for it. So I guess hard and costly lesson learned in this new age world as probably many others. Just thought ScamPulse.com should be aware of this.
