I was messaged on instagram about this person wanting to make a mural out of one of my pictures which is normal and does actually happen. But he said that it was for a client and I was emailed pictures of the check and the back of the check was already signed so that’s when I got suspicious and he was wanting screenshots of the deposit so I didn’t deposit it lied and said I did because if the check was genuine, you wouldn’t need screenshots. Then he asked for me to Zelle $500 after I “deposited” it which is how I knew it was a scam and instantly blocked.
