I contacted someone through the website to inquire about purchasing a puppy. After putting down a $490 deposit, they tried to tell us last minute that the dog would require a special cage for transporting, in the amount of $700+. No company logo or contact info for transport company and phony documentation of a transportation slip were all we had to rely on for contact info. When I didn’t feel comfortable providing credit card details in the reply of an email (not a secure site), I was told I was “stressing” out the person I was dealing with. Then they canceled the transport all together when I asked for a phone call to go over details, and that’s when I pulled the plug on this deal and contacted BBB.
