Crestview Boxer Puppies Reports & Reviews (1)

I came across the Crestview Boxer Puppies website while searching for a new puppy. They listed that there were still available puppies so I made the initial contact via their messaging system through the website. I didn’t get a response but it was hard to tell if it had actually worked so I made contact again via text message to the number listed on the website indicating interest and inquired about a particular boxer puppy, named Jaxx. The person responded stating that he was still available and sent me pictures. The conversation seemed to be pleasant with no red flags initially. As time went on, we started communicating about logistics - ie money. He first asked me to pay a $300 deposit for the puppy with the CashApp, which I did not have so I Asked about other methods and he stated that Zelle would be fine. I thought that would be safer anyway since I did not know him and it’s used through my bank app. So I proceeded to pay him the money which was to be sent to his email address (listed above), with some difficulty. Once it finally went through, he proceeded to ask me further information for the “registration papers” for Jaxx, transferring ownership to me. I sent him the needed information (name, address, new name for the dog) but also asked to see more pictures and videos of the puppy I was purchasing. I got no response. The next morning I texted a follow up about the next steps, politely indicating that I had given him the deposit and personal information so I would like more info about the puppy and how/when the official documents will be sent to me. He replied with total malice stating that he “was a sleep due to tiredness” implying that I was accusing him of something. I backtracked and apologized so as not to cause any more tension and he obliged. He stated that he’d email me the contact, which he did about an hour later. Upon receiving it, he immediately started asking for the rest of the money and more red flags started popping up. I noticed the name of the puppy in the body of the email was incorrect but the contact seemed okay - just “okay,” not a shining example of a legal document by any means but it was okay for this purpose, I thought. It was then that I noticed (of course after signing) that the name on the contact was different than the person I had been texting. The contact I had was Akwe Kome Koggerson and the contract said Jacoby Lewis Richard with the address listed under his name (same as above). I thought maybe Akwe was an assistant or someOne handling the transactions of the puppies but then felt that that wasn’t a normal thing for a website claiming the boxers were “family raised” on “10-acres of land” so I decided to look up the address and found that not only was the property listed on multiple real estate sites (so it’s not a place that supposedly had a ton of boxers running around), there had been an arrest made (I tried not to judge since there may have been a person in the family that had issues but still a major red flag that violence had occurred potentially where dogs - and kids- were living and being raised) but that the address had claims and was flagged on the ScamPulse.com for other breeding companies. Now I can’t find the claims on the ScamPulse.com like I had that day but I was able to read the stories of the people who wrote on there and they mirrored mine. Right then I knew something was wrong so I immediately called my bank and tried to get my money back with no success. I know I signed a contract and gave personal information and learned too late. Luckily I was able to realize this before I gave more money. One of the claims stated that the pictures of the puppies were from other sites, which is why that reheat was denied. And the vagueness about how the puppy would arrive raised flags as well. All traces of the company seem to be gone, even the website. Again I’m glad it didn’t go further for me financially, though I’m scared they have my name and address and who knows what info they can get from Zelle

(I did call the Zelle fraud department) but these people are taking advantage of others seeking companionship during these hard times with realistic but utterly false credentials and intentions. I hope these people get caught. I have attached the “contract” for proof.
