Me and my wife found an ad online for “crest”. The ad was basically they’ll pay us $500 a week just to advertise one of their stickers on our car. It seemed legit so we contacted them. I should have known the red flags when the people didn’t tell us their names. But they told us the would send us a check in the mail for $3,500. Which they did. We sent the check to PNC and waited for it to clear, which it did. The people from the ad said to withdrawal our $500 and give the rest back to the person who puts the sticker on the car. But we were having all sorts of issues sending them the money, and they weren’t really helping us out. We never withdrew the money out of the account. We just checked our account again and it says that we are at -$3,500. The bank turned around and rejected the check, but the problem is, they’re trying to take the money that we already had in our account before this happened and that’s not fair at all. We just want to keep our money and not deal with all that extra stuff. You guys can call me anytime at 216-250-5468 Please help us figure this out.
