I recieved a letter from a business claiming to be Trans Union, LLC. It said my credit had been frozen as of 07/05/2023. I called the number provided and spoke with a very rude man and he asked me for my social security number. After I gave it to him he informed me that my credit was frozen and said he would temporarily unfreeze it. He called me back later the same day, this time he asked me several "verification questions," and none of the questions had anything to do with me. One asked when I obtained my fishing license and I do not have one. The man got upset told me he would unfreeze my credit for two months and hung up the phone.
