Wanted a phone number for Amazon in Canada so I googled it and a link and phone number came up! Called the number and was told that $9800 was charged to my credit card and they would help me find out what happened! They had me doing some stuff on my phone which I since have deleted! They wanted an Ip address and my sister who was with me said to hang up as it was a scam! I got the real number for Amazon Canada and changed my membership to another card and canceled that credit card immediately! This happened on Wednesday July 12th! I have given the scammers number to Amazon Canada for their fraud department! Again the scammers phone number is 18444370290! I just wanted to make people aware of this potential scam! I also contacted the police but as I was not physically scammed they couldn’t do anything about it! ***** * **** Thx!
