Person called and said they were with Bank of America. That did I recently apply for a credit card (and they stated my name and last 4 digits of ss#). I said I did not. then they asked me if I knew a person named Linda Davis from Florida? they said this person is the person that tried to open a credit card in my name. I said I do not know her. I asked them to please block or cancel the application. They said they would and gave me a case #1653822, then they wanted to transfer me to another person to verify my information. I hung up. They called me back and insisted that I speak with someone and give them the case # and answer questions. I waited on the line and when the person answered I hung up. They have called back several times now.. I do not talk to them. Both people were extremely hard to understand. The number they called from is Junction City KS #785-579-8963. The second number then called from was #207-414-1859 (I don't know the city. I believe this was a scam call.. trying to scare me and to get me to "verify" my information.
