Type of a scam Credit Cards
-350-4766 and 800-922-9092 from people says they were from Credit Card
Customer service wanting to help me lower my rates.
I know this is always a scam so after a couple of minutes, asking questions, etc.
I told them I was not interested. I thanked them and hung up. I received
NUMEROUS calls trying to reconnect. I let the phone ring and after about 8
or 9 calls they gave up.
They had asked me for my credit card number as well as my Social Security
number, which l refused to give to them. If they were from the credit card
companies, as they alluded they were, they had all that information.
I hope you have some investigators who can look into this and stop them.
Also, 1 thought it strange that they called on my cell phone number and not my
landline? My cell number is not listed with ANY of the credit
of the 2 companies (except for emergencies should we be traveling) with which
we have credit accounts.
