I was sent a letter in the mail with a check to deposit and wait for funds to be available to do the secret shopper at a local walmart. I was to buy gift cards worth $2650 and keep the rest as my salary. After I bought the gift cards I was told to peel of the sticker in the back and to take a picture and send it to the number provided and to also fill out an assessment form and email all of it to a required email. And then another was sent overnight and when I went to deposit the check, my bank was trying to confirm with the checks bank for approval of the check and it was denied and the banker was talking to me about it and later found out it was a scam, and now I have a negative account because of this.
