I recently purchased a mobile home. It's located in a mobile home community. The other day a young man showed up at my house fully believing I was his new landlord. He paid someone on Craigslist $570 as rent before even seeing the property. He didn't have a lease. He called his bank but the payment already went through. I told him he was scammed. I just purchased the property. We reported the incident to one of the property managers. The only thing they recommend is to report it to the cops.
