I was contacted by a person identifying them self as Anderson. I have an add on Craigslist selling a snowmobile. The person agreed to my price and wanted to set up a time to pick it up. First they wanted a RCV REPORT from a specific website. Runvehiclechecks.com. They insisted I use only a site that they “trusted”. I tried to negotiate with them insisting they do their own search. Even coming down on the price. The person was very pushy that I get the report from the names site. I refused to do so. They kept saying that they would give me the listed price with no negotiation. When I did some looking it was clear that this is a scam targeting sellers of vehicles. When I confronted the person they immediately stop responding.
