Scammer used the name Monique Turner Robinson to receive money for a car listed for sale on craig's list for 1400.00. Stated that it was a car her daughter had and was selling the vehicle because she had just graduated from college and her father purchased her another car so she was selling a 2007 honda accord for 1400. Female answered the phone and said the car was available to sale but it would be going fast as there were plenty of people interested in buying the vehicle. She texted the address to my phone number that was listed for Emory Hospital Downtown Atlanta because she stated that is where she currently worked and that she would be at work and would have the vehicle there with her. Upon arival she requested that I text her within 10 minutes of arriving at the hospital and that we could just park in the emergency lane so I would not have to pay for parking. She stated that she would enter the lobby upon my arrival and that she would leave the keys to the car so I could test drive it before purchasing. The female stated that she worked in the OBGYN office there at EMory and that she would be coming down soon to meet to complete the transction if I wanted to proceed with purchasing the car but she then asked if we could attempt the payment to make sure that it would work properly. Before all this took place she stated that she would remove the ad since we wanted the car and that she called me from the hospital to make sure I was aware that she was not scamming me because she knows that plenty of people are out there scamming. SHe used some sort of computerized phone system and called from Emory hospital to make it seems that she was actually there. SHe asked what I was wearing as if she was coming off the elevator and confirmed that she knew who I was. Once she received the funds she stopped all form of communication and the police was notified at the hospital and informed me that I had to be about the 20th person to have been scammed by this individual going by the name Monique Turner. Her cashApp was fradulaent and so was her Chime and PayPal account. The other phone number used in this scam was 470.214.4772 which was supposedly her daughter's phone and name. I will upload the conversation and accounts used in the scam.She also blocked any attempts to regain the money by blocking me on her payment accounts.

Every time that I put an ad on Craigslist someone right away call or try to text a scam .

I suspect that someone in Craigslist is selling or passing the info to scammers.

It had happened many times.

Someone attempted to rent my condo in Bellingham, showing images of what it was before I purchased it in 6/2021. Someone wanting to rent it came by, saw my sign and realized it wasn't a yoga studio and alerted me.
