I was contacted via a friends Linked In account. When I questioned her (my friend) via Linked In I got a response that it wasn't a scam. I made the mistake of completing the form the sent me with address. I just received a check for $2900 - fake check - asking for me to deposit it and spend $2500 of it on gift cards for ebay. I received and email and text making sure I received the check and encouraging me to start quickly to get an additional $100 on top of the $400 that I would already make - I've shred it all and am reporting them.
