I received a check in the amount of $1950 along with a customer service evaluation sheet. I was instructed to keep $450 for my commission. And with the rest of the money to purchase Nike gift cards in the denominations of $100, $200, and $500. A total of $1500 spent on Nike cards. After the purchase of the card I was instructed to open the pack and gently peel the silver scratch off area. Then capture image of card front and back save the card for future use. And then the rest of the details were to be emailed in the form of survey questions requesting the name of the store the address the date and time of visit if the store clerk was helpful etc. And then after all that was done I was to email it to the above email address. I was under no circumstance to acknowledge that I was evaluating their services as it would deter the purpose of the whole program so if I was asked if I was a secret survey or to say no.

I was looking into earning some extra cash and I came across a mystery shopper/ survey for cash website. I filled out a inquiry mainly because it was listed as Whole Foods undercover shopper/ evaluator and I received a text message saying that I would be receiving instructions in the mail if I would be interested in earning extra cash. I had really forgot about the inquiry until I received a priority envelope from USPS, inside was just a letter saying congratulations for your achievement (I’m questioning what achievement) and a list of instructions to perform these tasks of buying Nike gift cards up to $700 worth and a check for $985, which included my service commissions payment of $285 providing that I deposit the check in my account to use the funds to purchase the cards. Plus I would receive a $200 bonus if I completed the tasks in 6 to 12 hours. Plus text 346-262-7106 to say that I received the packet and then after I purchase the cards and evaluate the store, the cashier, basically the customer service provided and get these cards scratch them off but keep them for my forthcoming assignment and email that to [email protected]. I was suspicious because I never heard of a company sending a check to use, a company card maybe but not a check. I looked up the address of the return address of the packet sent and it gave me a street view of a apartment complex. The bank that issued the so call check was a real bank and the address was correct but it said in the corner that it was issued by moneygram, suspicious because it would be issued by the bank. The signature was digital but it was missing a little edge off the end of the name(suspicious) then I looked up the routing number of the check and it didn’t match the bank, so I didn’t fall for the scam. Then the person (Blake Clark) constantly kept texting me saying that I should have received my packet and should be texting back and that the email ([email protected]) was incorrect and that [email protected] was the correct email address... I text back “nice try”... I don’t put checks from unknown people in my account.
