Type of a scam Online Purchase
Upon receiving the item, it was nothing like what was advertised. The item ordered was a "high-tech" face mask with wireless earbuds, two small HEPA filter fans, RGB lighting, a rubber lining around the upper portion of the mask, with multiple ear tips and filters in the package. However, the mask given was simply a mesh face mask with a small piece of rubber over the front that vaguely resembles what was advertised. No technology that was promised is in this product. The mask itself also does not have any rubber face seal as advertised.
I still informed the seller about this issue and was told that to receive a refund, I would have to pay postage to send the item back to China. If I was unable to send the item back, I would receive a 15% refund of the item value and a store coupon. However, I already received a refund from PayPal. I do not intend to proceed with any of these options. This is unacceptable and potentially scam worthy since the website states that the refund process is by utilizing a return label given by the company.
