Letter received stating there was a lawsuit filed against me and if I don't want to have my check garnished I should call them and they will stop it.They will negotiate the debt for me. The only problem is that I have never had a credit card with discover bank. I even called them and they did not have my name or social. I also checked my credit report and nothing showing. The letter had a civil summons court case number which I did look up. It stated: OSC: Failure to file proof of service and failure to file default judgment. Case placed in special status of collections case.

This "company" initially sent an email to our law office in regards to a court call. After calling and being rudely spoken to on the phone, I would not disclose any information because they weren't providing me with any of theirs. The way that they're unprofessional over the phone is a major initial red flag. They send emails with links that automatically put a virus on your PC and are able to access private information.
