I received a Popup message on 4/25/17 saying that I had a virus on my laptop and to call 1-888-516-1261 to have Tech support fix the issue otherwise my laptop would shutdown. I called the number and I talked to a lady who said that my laptop had a security issue and she needed access to logon to my laptop to fix. She said it would take a while to fix (not sure if she said one, two, or three hours). She gave me three options for payment (I don't remember what they were) She gave the computer back to me when she had it fixed. She charged me $699.99 which I paid online by check. My laptop worked fine for a few months. Then I received email alerts for Alert / Security Breachs on 7/4, 7/11 and 7/20. At this point I called back at the number given to me in the email: 1-888-516-1261. The man I talked to fixed it, then charged me $599.99 which I again paid online by check. Again my laptop worked fine after the fix. However, I received another Security alert on 7/28. I did not call back regarding that alert.
