I hired Coulton Company Appraisals, LLC to do an appraisal of my property in Shelton, WA. I was in contact with both Peter Coulton, and an employee named Destiny Carpenter. I met supposedly his daughter out at my property, where I handed her a check and I received an email engagement letter and transmittal. It seemed so legit, and I trusted this supposedly being a WA state licensed appraiser, with license number given as Certified General Appraiser Lic: 1101737. But my appraisal was never completed. I completed payment and was waiting for my appraisal, but was being led on through many emails that it was almost ready, and that they would have it ready soon, which was all lies. And then all of a sudden, all of the emails related to this company no longer are in working use. They get sent back to me as email address not found. There is no one to hold accountable, and I didn't receive my appraisal. I realized I must have been scammed. Please look into this, this fraud business is scamming people. I want my money back and this company should be sued. There must be something that can be done to bring justice to this awful situation.
