Sale was promoted on Facebook. I typed in the www.cotopaxius.com link (did not click directly through Facebook), I spend a couple of days browsing and selecting, then purchased. Upon purchasing it redirected me through Paypal (which I thought was a positive thing since it has it's own fraud protections), but then it had me re-enter my credit card information and sent the invoice that identified Diego Isreal Tun Canto Trading Co, LTD as the seller. That's when I reported the invoice as potentially fraudulent via Paypal, but the charge already went through on my credit card and I have no real way of contacting the seller. Paypal is currently processing my dispute.

A closing-the-store sale popped up on Instragram/Facebook for Cotopaxi. The link went to cotopaxigear.store where it looked legit enough, except for the fact that items were 90% off and it had a 20-minute timer running and another continuous pop-up of others buying gear showing up in the lower left-hand corner.
