Aug 22, I got on the website and asked about purchase of dog. Email came back and indicated $870 for total cost (695 for dog and 175 for travel arrangement). I only sent half and the breeder "Shane" kept replying that it was fine. I was told to send zelle transfer to [email protected]. The emails then agreed to send puppy via a Nanny service. Emails on Aug 24th came in from Flying Pet Nanny - the man "Howard" also texted me and indicated that there was a problem with the dog getting on the flight and that there was an insurance required for the dog to get on the plane. $970 was asked or the dog would not be able to get on the flight. The money was asked via Zelle to be sent to Pascale Bossota through Zelle and mobile number was 347-858-1482. Then an email was sent with flight info for dog to be sent via American airlines. The flights were real flightsm frm DWF, to ORD to LAX. Then August 25, Howard texts and says there is a problem at ORD. To reply to their message, the message was again asking for more money from 790- 950 for special crate. I called Chicago PD to verify this agency existed - they said not. I checked the corporate french bulldogs website again and saw that the website was listed as a scam website. I called the bank, reported to FTC (report # 122198319). I made a report to IC3.gov, and then went home to file a police report. Det. Molina took my report 920-10885-0453-112. Today I am continuing to file and hope to find these criminals and close their site down.
