Was applying to many jobs and received and email from a recruiter about a data entry job that paid very well. I even was emailed from a name that seems to be with the company, and had an I9, W4, and direct deposit form sent back to them unfortunately. The company itself is not US based so I didn’t think much of the use of Telegram for contact as weird, until they wanted, to send me a start up check. The check had the incorrect last name and address, and then I had not heard anything for a week. After that, they contacted me by phone and wanted to mobile deposit start up funds into my account, to which I ended the contact. Everything I’ve read that seems suspicious so be wary.
