An ad from SuperTapeDirect.com was on my Facebook page, offering a sample of the Nano Tape product for $1.95 S&H. The ad was very interesting and there were guarantees, privacy, and terms; all the usual stuff you find with legitimate sales. I provided my personal information and credit card number and completed the purchase. I got a confirmation with an order number and their contact email address but there was no amount shown. Nor did I see anything about joining their monthly discount club. Immediately after placing the order I went to my email account to see if there was an order with the amount on it. Upon opening my mail I saw a notice from my Discover account about a purchase beyond the limit I had set. When I opened it, there was a purchase from this DietBroomTrainExpressC for $119.97. I then opened the email from Support at Cool Products welcoming me and also mentioning the Discount Club as well as notifying me the forthcoming charges would be under the DietBoom....name. I sent a response telling them to cancel both the order I had placed and the membership in their Club, and to immediately refund any monies they were charging to my Discover Card. I then made contact with this ScamPulse.com site and filed my complaint.
