Cool Events Reports & Reviews (4)

We paid $43.80 to Cool Events, LLC in November 2019 for my husband and I to participate in the Foam Glow Event on 3/14/2020 with a couple friends (who also never got reimbursed). That event was cancelled a couple of days prior due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The company emailed participants and said they would hold our money but monitor for availability to rebook. It's been 9 months and the pandemic is still raging and who knows if we will be able to attend IF and WHEN they eventually rebook - meanwhile we are out funds we should be refunded, in a very challenging time. Their contact email on the website bounced back as undeliverable. I left a voicemail and we will see if they respond. Seems like a giant scam to me and if they don't give my money back, they will never get another dime from me or any of my friends in the future!

And I will also report them to the BBB if I don't get a response/refund.

I purchased entry to a black light 5K for my husband and myself, to be held on December 9th 2017. The Facebook page and website details a fun run with black light paint and powder with a concert after the run. The total for both entries was $56, which included entry, t-shirt, glow pack, concert and donation to a charity. A few weeks after purchasing this I received an email that the event was cancelled, with no explanation, and if it was rescheduled they would let me know. Since there was no reschule plan I contacted them for a refund and received the email posted below. They would not give a refund and expected me to either travel to a different city, or transfer my registration to someone else and hope they didn’t conveniently cancel that race. I understand not offering refunds to people who can’t make the event or have buyers remorse, but when you can no longer offer the person what they paid for, refunds should be given. So sad that this fraud of a company is pretending to be a charity, it makes people not want to trust other places who might be legitimately collecting for a cause.

All the events that Cool Events have been postponed. They postpone events, take your money and then don't offer you a refund. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR EVENTS. They are THIEVES and they RIP YOU OFF! I have not been contacted.
