total scam

fake job offer, probably entirely fake company. super low pay for someone expecting a proper engineer. I would avoid this company at all costs, completely ignore any offer or email from them.

Bookkeeper and Payroll Assistant Needed

Saw the ad posted on Upwork; submitted a proposal; later notified by Upwork that the post was removed for violating terms of service; was contacted by "Wayot Pays" via direct messaging in Upwork asking if I was still interested, if yes, provide a number to be reached at; provided number; received a text message from 970-294-9234 describing the position and duties, training information, instructed to download Viber Messaging, provided the name Eric Moltane, 517-764-8675 with an HR code to message "Eric." Sent message through Viber, asked qualifying questions, asked for name, address and phone; sent job employment offer with ConveyX Corp's letterhead and got suspicious. Have reported the incident to Upwork and ConveyX Corp, a Michigan company.

Upwork Employment Scam

A job listing on Upwork advertises a package that seems too good to be true for an entry level position.

I spoke with 2 separate people, both of whom used broken English despite having American-sounding names(like Jeff Taylor). I’d the recruiters from an American company(based in Michigan) would be able to speak English fluently. Their job listing also later got removed from Upwork. They made excuses for this, but it seems fishy.
Too many red flags.

This person send me a message through upwork about a job as a Scheduler, i knew damn well is too good to be true when they send me to contact the manager in Telegram mr. Raymond Steven. My instinct activated this morning when i went over the messages with this person. I have work with many factories before and i felt like the way this person was reaching out wasn’t right.

I definitely had the same experience as others. Same email and messages via Telegram. The “person’s” name was Peter Dale. I just had a feeling. I blocked the company and deleted everything. Pretty nervous they know my name, number, email and address but will be cautious. If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

They made me download an app called Telegram when the fake HR Manager Danielle Timm, emailed a fake check for equipment, tried to make me pay for my own equipment and wanted access to my cell phone provider account. They mask it as a real job but its not
