I applied for a Senior Photo Editor job via LinkedIn. A person named Mark Broadway emailed me to invite me to interview. I was instructed to download the Wire secure messaging app and send a message to Jana Strawn, who immediately responded and asked me to to a text based screening chat with her on the spot, which I did. She told me I'd done "exceptionally well" and that I'd hear about next steps on the next few days. Less than a day later, I received a text from an unknown number saying "Hi (my name), this is Steve Bellamy HR from Contract Furnishings Inc. This seemed weird so I looked at the company closer. The email address is a .online address and looks like it's not legitimate and the website associated is just a parked domain.
