Received a call from Paul Smiths NY. They claimed they were a collection agency calling on behalf of Us Diagnostic for blood work done in April 2018. I had never received a bill or notice so I was suspicious. After they would not provide time for me to contact my insurance company I gave them a fake Debit Card #. When it would not go through they said I would have to call my bank. I told them to call me back in a few hours.

I contact my insurance company and they said there was a Dr. visit but they had no record of lab work. So together we called US Diagnostic in IL and they were aware of the scam as their name has been used before. They happened to know that there was a Dr. visit on that date so it seemed believable and I have seen where labs do separate billing that sometimes does not get processed right through insurance. Anyway this is a SCAM.
